A five day trip to the shores and island of Croatia and visits to Bosnia-Hercegovina.
Update 12/02: Some change of plans. On more detailed observations of the boat tunnel north of Split it was found that it is a over 3km walk. We will not make that in the schedule that was set up so that trip is withdrawn from the schedule, leaving more time in Mostar (2nights) and instead a 3rd boat tunnel south of Split.
Visits are;
Three boat shelters/tunnels on mianland Croatia close to the Bosnian border.
Abandoned mountain hangar close to Mostar in Bosnia.
Tito’s main bunker north of Mostar.
Time to explore Mostar and Split.
Costal battery, missile battery, command structures, old castle, boat tunnel, 2WW airfield and wine cellars on island Vis.
2WW Italian style pillpoxes around Split.
Arrival on your own cost, latest 20th April 13:00 local time at Split airport. Tour leader arrives from Stockholm at 10:15.
Departure on your own cost, earliest 24rd April 12:00 local time at Split airport. Tour leader leaves with KLM at 12:50.
Price: 7.000-7.600 SEK (Reduced with 500 SEK if shared room) (min price if all seats are taken, max is absolute max price as long as SEK/€€ is not above 11,7)
Included in price: Rental cars with max 4 per car (drivers needed). All hotels with additional breakfast. Ferry tickets. Rental of Quad on Vis. All visits and entrances.
Not included: International travel to/from Split. Taxi from Split to Split airport on 24/04. Lunch and dinners.

Itiniary
20/04
Arrival from your home preferably by 12:00 at Split airport. Tour leader arrivning from Stockholm 10:15.
Pick-up of three rental cars at Split airport for a latest departure of 13:00, followed by a 2h15min transport to Mostar in Bosnia. Border control as we are leaving Schengen/EU. We’ll use part of the afternoon to explore an abandoned mountain hangar just south of the city. Hotel Villa Meydan in Mostar old city. They have a pool and multiple saunas free of use.
21/04
Extra time if needed to explore the mountain hangar once again before heading more north into Bosnia and Tito’s bunker close to the town of Konjic. A normal guidence are 90min in this huge bunker, we’ll try and stay for 5h.
Back to Mostar in the afternoon. Hotel Eden in Mostar old city. They have a pool and multiple saunas free of use.
22/04
A 1h20 min drive will get us back into Croatia and the coastline where there is a cluster of three boat tunnels from the Cold War era. After exploring here for a couple of hours we have a 3h drive back to Split for the ferry to Vis at 18:30, arriving on Vis at 20:40.

23/04
Full day exploring Vis island on Quad bikes. Two per bike, at least five (+ me) needs to be confortable driving and have a legit drivers licence for cars. We’ll have a guide that will show as much of the military history on the island as we can cope with on a min 5h trip. Including costal battery, missile battery, command structures, old castle, boat tunnel, 2WW airfield and wine cellars.
Same hotel as the night before.
24/04
Early start with boarding the ferry back to Split at 07:00. Breakfast before at the hotel. Back in downtown Split at 08:35. Travel out to the airport depending on when your flight is due.
